The boys of Classic Recreations from Yukon in Oklahoma have put together another dream vehicle! The tuner has been busy creating individual cars based on the Ford Mustang for years and now the next one is ready. The result is, with Shelby's blessing (every vehicle is officially entered in the Shelby register), a Shelby Ford Mustang GT 500CR 900C Fastback which was of course built on special customer request and was therefore created in close cooperation with the client. And this vehicle also took many months of work and over 2.500 working hours "per employee". And this GT 500CR 900C Fastback was completely gutted and meticulously restored down to the last detail and then shows itself with a beautiful metallic blue paint finish and the typical Shelby stripes over the entire body. The unmistakable features such as the bonnet with power dome including air openings, the powerful side pipes of the stainless steel exhaust system and the original chrome rims (Shelby 427 "wheels, size 8 × 17 and 9,5 × 17 inches, dimensions 245/45 and 275/40 or 315/35) in the wheel arches make a powerful impression.

At the same time, the optical allusions are a foretaste of what is under the hood. There they have installed a brand new Ford Performance V8, which with 7-liter displacement and including ROUSH Performance compressor system presses the power down to approx. 800 PS. There is also one locking differential, another cooler, special Headers and a new 68 liter tank. Unfortunately, we do not currently have any precise key data on performance. We know how to stop the load. Namely by means of a new brake system with perforated, slotted and cross-ground brake discs. And the braking force distribution can even be individually adjusted. And inside? Unfortunately we currently have no pictures that show the cabin in detail. However, other vehicles from Classic Recreations were always equipped with the classic round instruments, countless original Shelby tuning parts, sports seats with sport belts, aluminum shift levers or a wooden steering wheel with a Shelby emblem. Certainly this is also the case here.

And the chassis? In addition to a new coilover kit, additional stabilizers, new strut bars, a reinforced front axle and everything can be individually adjusted in rebound and compression. And we are pretty sure that this is also the case with the current vehicles. In any case, the result is impressive. Once again the famous Shelby GT500 template from 1967-68 was used as a model and in particular the authentic Carroll Shelby attachments made of fiberglass, the GT 500CR emblems and small details such as the Shelby-LeMans Racingfiller cap make the Restomod result so extraordinary.
