Vehicles from Volkswagen have been known for decades for their solid construction and, of course, their reliability. A fancy optics with the focus on harmonious and perfect line guidance one searches with VW, apart from the CC, so far in vain. But that's exactly what the Wolfsburgers want to change with the new Arteon. All of a sudden VW wants to set up an alternative to Mercedes CLS or Audi A7 and, at least visually, we have succeeded in that. As for the Phaeton and the already mentioned Passat CC (later then Volkswagen CC) did not succeed is now the Arteon create.

And that this can be successful shows die many already modified Arteons which we have presented on tuningblog since 2017. The Arteon is popular and should soon replace the Passat in the tuning scene and not place itself far behind the Golf. And the HOWDEEP team from Herzogenrath shows us that you don't even have to put in a lot of effort. They grabbed a snow-white Arteon R-Line and gave it an air suspension and a new set of wheels, thus showing impressively that more is not necessary at all.

The chassis is a KW streetec FAHRWairK from the house null bar which at the press of a button releases the Arteon down to the last millimeter in the direction of the road. In addition, the show Photos a chic 20 inch wheelset from Vossen Wheels, and more specifically it's the VFS-1 in elegant silver. As an alternative, the Arteon was originally placed on high-gloss Vossen LC 105T rims with 15mm spacers look no less spectacular on this vehicle. In the end, that's probably just a matter of taste.

The Arteon of HOW Deep proves, no matter on which wheelset, impressively that the Wolfsburg neither an extensive body kit nor other extreme modifications needed to stand out skillfully from the series. If we get more details about the changes, there is, of course, an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We wish you a lot of fun watching the pictures.

  • Lowering (KW streetec FAHRWairK from zero-bar)
  • possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
