Actually, we know the team of Power Parts Automotive GmbH with big offroaders like that Dodge RAM 1500 XXL SuperSize Wide Body TTS, One WideBody Ford F150 or a breaking deep Jeep Grand Cherokee. But not only pickups and SUVs are modified by the tuner from Odelzhausen, athletes such as the current Chevrolet Corvette C7 can also receive an extensive tuning program on request. Our vehicles linked above have already made clear that Power Parts loves extremes, and so it's no wonder that the C7 Stingray also lives from the "extreme".
Nothing but the widest Corvette in Germany has put you on the wheels and makes possible a comprehensive widebody kit. The in-house Breitbau body kit from the "EditionSeries" consists of a total of 8 parts and the highlights are of course the attachments for the fenders of the athlete. Once installed, the front axle widens on each side to a full 7,6 cm and the rear axle is wider by 10 cm, of course, each side. Sounds a lot, and that's it!
Considering the fact that the C7 Vette is already far from factory narrow is the 20 extra centimeters just crazy. The 2 Meter brand has thus easily been surpassed and ordinary washing systems are now virtually unrestricted with the Power Parts Vette. The body kit also includes a rear diffuser insert and a new front apron with a large air intake. And that the extremely huge wheel arches also need an adequate wheelset should be clear.
So they built ultra-fat Ferrada FR3 alloy wheels in the dimensions 10,5 × 20 inches on the front axle and insane 11,5 × 20 inches at the rear. The rims are fitted with tires from Hankook that have a 285/25 ZR20 format at the front and a 325/25 ZR20 at the rear. So that the new wheel set also sits consistently in the wheel arch, lowering must of course also be installed and so an in-house lowering kit was installed that clearly pushes the body towards the road. And the performance of the 6,2 liter V8 has also changed because the standard 466 PS & 630 NM torque is increased through the use of an air filter box from aFe Power.
We find the overall project absolutely successful and the C7 reminds us a little bit, especially because of the spoiler lip in front, on the Ferrari F799tdf limited to 12 specimens. With a purchase price of at least 379.000 Euro, however, this plays in a different league. If we get even more details about the changes, there is of course an update for this story.
