Big Boy: Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro model year 2022 is here!

The air-cooled two-cylinder engine will be celebrating its 2021th anniversary at Ducati in 50. This engine was installed for the first time in the Ducati 750 GT in 1971. On this occasion, Ducati Scrambler decided to honor the history of this famous engine with an anniversary model: This is how the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO was born. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO is a motorcycle that was developed with the help of lovers of modern classic motorcycles and fans with a soft spot for the history of the motorcycle, especially that of Ducati. The new Ducati Scrambler model pays homage to the history of the Borgo Panigale company. This becomes clear through the choice of the fascinating “Giallo Ocra” paintwork. It's a color that was particularly important to Ducati in the past. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO has other style details such as the use of the iconic Ducati logo from the 1970s, designed by Giugiaro. Other striking styling details are the black wire wheels, the round rear-view mirrors and the brown bench with special decorative stitching.

Ducati Scrambler 1100

From a technical point of view, the motorcycle has the characteristics of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO family. It has an iconic and at the same time original design, an agile chassis and a 1.079 cc engine, which is characterized by high torque even at low speeds. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO is equipped with three riding modes as standard, each of which works with different power modes and the different levels of Ducati Traction Control (DTC). In addition, thanks to the headlights with LED daytime running lights, the motorcycle is always easy to see, even during the day.

In the line of the most powerful motorcycles of the Ducati Scrambler family, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO joins the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO, the entry-level model of the 1100 of the "Land of Joy", and the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO, the sportiest and most muscular version of the Ducati scrambler. The entire 1100 series is equipped as standard with cornering ABS and Ducati Traction Control (DTC) for safe driving in every situation. The models are also prepared for the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), with which a smartphone can be connected to the motorcycle via Bluetooth. A USB port under the bench is also part of the standard equipment.

The entire 1100 series is also available in a 35 kW version for the A2 driving license.

At Ducati, the “Land of Joy” stands for the universe in which you can develop yourself. Therefore, thanks to a large selection of clothing and accessories, there is the opportunity to express your individuality in the best possible way. The clothing line includes helmets, functional equipment and lifestyle products (which can be purchased from authorized dealers or in the online shop). The accessories collection, on the other hand, includes a number of items such as seats, tank panels and approved exhaust systems, all of which can be viewed using the online configurator. The presentation videos of the Ducati Scrambler models and all original content that was produced in the “Land of Joy” can be viewed in the special section “Scrambler Media Box” (link here) on the scramblerducati.com website.

Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO: Mark your roots

The new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO pays homage to the history of the air-cooled two-cylinder engine, fifty years after its introduction on a Ducati in 1971 with the Ducati 750 GT. The new Ducati Scrambler model pays homage to the history of the company from Borgo Panigale. The fascinating color "Giallo Ocra" was chosen. This is a color that was particularly fashionable at the time and was used by Ducati in 1972 for the twin-cylinder 450 Desmo Mono and 750 Sport. This homage is also reminiscent of the 750 Supersport, which was used by the Spaggiari team from 1975 onwards.
