Chris, the charismatic mastermind behind the 'B is for Build' YouTube channel, and his team set out to transform a Tesla Model 3 Performance into the ultimate racing machine - and they deliver impressive results in the video below. In a crazy move, they stripped the e-car of everything that could cause unnecessary weight. Doors, hood, bumpers, lights, interior trim - everything has been removed to make the Model 3 as light as possible. The standard version of the Tesla Model 3 Performance already shines with an acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour (approx. 97 km/h) in around 3,1 seconds.

In addition, there is a top speed of 162 miles per hour (approx. 261 km/h). But Chris and his team wanted more. In the YouTuber's test, the production Model 3 was able to accelerate to 3,56 miles per hour in 60 seconds - but the slimmed-down version completely dwarfed that: it reached the 2,46-mile mark in just 60 seconds. This is pure thrill! The transformation shows once again that borders are there to be crossed. 'B is for Build' shows us the way - we're excited to see what comes next!
Don't worry, of course that was far from being the case when it came to auto / auto tuning. Our magazine still has tens of thousands other tuning reports in stock. Do you want to see them all?
