The Cowboy Cruiser - an e-bike with Dutch flair!

Cowboy, the innovative e-bike startup from Belgium, is growing and expanding as it has just launched its product portfolio with the new Cruiser, an e-bike in the style of a classic Dutch bike. At the same time, Cowboy has updated its model names to make it easier for customers to choose the right e-bike. So far, Cowboy has offered two e-bike models: the sportier one cowboy 4 and a model with a lower entry. Now, the more comfortable example gets a boost from a version with a classic diamond frame. The new "Cruiser' looks very similar to the Cowboy 4, but allows for one more relaxed and upright Seating position for additional driving comfort. Cowboy achieved this by using more comfortable ones Griffen at a much higher and curved Links, a higher one gear ratio and a wider one Saddle.

The new model responds to the needs of the cowboy community, which, according to surveys, more upright sitting position and better sight prefer to be on the street. In addition, the removable battery, which all Cowboy models have, can be an important purchasing factor for those who cannot charge their e-bike in the garage. The cruiser model, the 19,3 kg puts on the scales, has one Smart phone holder with wireless charging function on the stem, similar to the other current bikes. This is a smart solution as the constant connection between the bike and the app can quickly drain the smartphone battery. Other features include a low-maintenance, oil-free Carbon belt drive from Gates, which only needs to be serviced after about 30.000 kilometers, Fenders and puncture-proof 47 millimeters "Cowboy Custom Tires".

Introductory price of EUR 2.990

The new cruiser model is powered by a 250 watt motor with a torque of 45 Newton meters. The cruiser is in Black and sand at the introductory price of 2.990 EUR available. In addition to the new model, Cowboy has also changed the names of its e-bikes: the more sporty Cowboy 4 is now called "Cowboy classic' and the 'C4 ST' is now called 'Cruiser ST". The new naming is designed to help customers find the e-bike that best suits their individual needs, the company says. Cowboy also announced a change in its sales and service model in May. In the future, the start-up will not only sell its pedelecs directly, but also via a Europe-wide network of retail and service partners sell and repair. Photo credit: cowboys
