There are many camping trailers designed for off-road use. But these are not intended for the ultimate apocalypse. Not so the Mammoth Overland trailer, which offers a slightly different approach to outback adventure as a self-sufficient camping trailer called ELE (pronounced Ellie). The designation ELE stands for Extinction Level Event and it should be a mobile shelter. It has an armored front and there are massive protective plates on the underbody, with a completely bulletproof version even being available. Access is through a submarine-like pressure door that helps keep the interior sealed and pressurized. There is a special hatch on the roof that leads to a small observation deck, from which you can launch a drone for exploring, for example.

It continues with a medical air filtration system that lasts six months, and a night vision camera system on a telescopic mast with 360-degree visibility is also included. Even a bear repellent system, which is activated at the touch of a button, is not missing. Urgent then "anything' in the trailer, then as a last resort there is a firearm from ELE's armory system at hand.
A 22 gallon fresh water tank with filter in combination with four 100 ampere hour lithium iron phosphate batteries, which provide up to 20 hours of electricity, is supposed to ensure survival in the Mammoth ELE camping trailer. You can charge them with 200 watts of solar power, the driving operation and also an emergency power generator with petrol drive is included on request. And even the topic of luxury is not neglected. Inside is a 32-inch LCD, there's Starlink for the internet connection, a dual-band radio system and even air conditioning.
there is also a small kitchen
You can prepare food using the fold-out outdoor kitchen, which comes with a sink and a two-burner stove. Even an awning can be put up, at least when straight Rest has returned around the trailer. Designed to aircraft standards, the ELE trailer can handle anything campers can throw at it, according to Mammoth Overland. Whether it's bears, forest fires or social unrest. Incidentally, ELE will be exhibited at the upcoming Overland Expo West in Flagstaff (Arizona). Pricing starts at $67.000, with the Level 3 bulletproof armor option costing an additional $25.000.
Of course, that wasn't the end of it!
