Camping at the luxury level has reached a new dimension: because of the Dembell L! It is based on the Mercedes Actros and has its own garage for a vehicle up to four meters long. This makes it possible to accommodate a small car such as a five-door Mini, an Audi A1 or a Fiat 500 in the rear of the luxury motorhome. The electronic ramp also makes it easy to park the car in the rear garage. Thanks to the garage's hydraulic system, the bed (1,80 x 2,00 meters) and bedroom above it can even be lowered as soon as the car is parked. This creates a seamless transition from the living room in the front part of the Dembell luxury liner to the master bedroom in the rear.
Dembell L: interior / design
The interior of the Dembell L can be designed in copper, petrol or steel (grey) according to personal preferences. The Italian designers from Galeazzi e Minotti Architect Studio took part in the design and have created a yacht-like and nautical style. High-quality materials such as marble, steel, leather and wood are used here. All built-in parts come from well-known manufacturers such as Miele, Bose, Liebherr and Harman Kardon.
Two side slide-outs on the Actros expand the living space. The floor plan is open: from the bedroom in the rear, a corridor on the passenger side leads past the bathroom into the front living area, where an L-shaped sofa is placed opposite the kitchen. Up to four people can be accommodated in the cockpit on comfortable leather pilot seats and there is a queen-size fold-down bed above the driver's cab. The interior headroom is a whopping 2,10 meters. The Actros is powered by a 12,8-litre engine with up to 530 hp, which is surprisingly economical for a 20,5-ton colossus with consumption of around 100 liters per 26 km.
And the water supplies are impressive too: the Dembell L luxury liner has a crazy 1.000 liters of fresh water, 460 liters of gray water and 400 liters of black water. That's just 2 tons just for the water. All water tanks are insulated and heated in the vehicle floor. The hot water boiler can be operated with both diesel and electricity.
Innovative technology
During idle time and winter storage, the system can be kept at a constant temperature of 5 degrees Celsius to prevent freezing. In summer, on the other hand, an air conditioning system provides cooling. A 4,8 kW diesel generator and a 24 volt energy storage system provide sufficient power. Depending on requirements, three to six lithium batteries can be installed in the liner. A central heating system with underfloor and radiator heating as well as a local thermostat also ensures a pleasant temperature in every area of the luxury liner.
Even the side windows can be heated and of course there is a towel radiator in the bathroom. A television is installed in both the bedroom and the living room, and with the help of a smart home network, all technical elements on board as well as doors, lights and blinds can be conveniently controlled. Control is possible via an integrated screen as well as via a remote control.
The vehicle is based on a Mercedes-Benz Actros, Gigaspace chassis with an output of 530 hp. The dimensions are 12,00 meters long, 2,50 meters wide and 4,00 meters high. The maximum total weight is 26 tons.
Dembell, a brand that is still young, offers a 5-year guarantee on your new vehicles and delivery within one year. According to the manufacturer, this sets a new standard for this vehicle class. With its impressive equipment, high-quality design and integrated garage, the Dembell L luxury liner offers an incomparable experience for camping enthusiasts who value luxury and comfort.
Of course, that wasn't the end of it!
