Imagine: You are at the Abenteuer Allrad in Bad Kissingen, and Wheelhouse GmbH appears from Hamburg with the compact Wildbox One off-road caravan. Then the big luxury things are quickly secondary. Because here, too, everything revolves around quality, just in other price regions. While gigantic off-road mobile homes, which run into the hundreds of thousands, usually cause amazement, it was mainly the smaller and more affordable models that drew the attention of the visitors to the fair. It almost looked as if the unwritten law read: Marvel at the titans, but invest in the dwarves. The WildBox One deserves a mention. In contrast to the usual models, this camper stands out.
Wildbox One: mini off-road caravan
The caravan, which has an unladen weight of between 650 and 750 kilograms (maximum payload: 1,3 tons), sits majestically on a hot-dip galvanized chassis. There is even an optional independent wheel suspension, which also makes it suitable for difficult routes. Its robust appearance is further reinforced by the 30 millimeter thick sandwich panel construction, which is free of thermal bridges. It also comes with double glazing, two side doors and a skylight. And despite the generous dimensions of the bed (2,10 x 1,60 metres), there is still plenty of storage space inside. A padded headlining also ensures that the acoustics when the doors are closed are first class. You almost feel like you are in a safe cocoon.

The standard equipment includes, among other things, warm-white, dimmable LED lighting, a 20 Ah battery from Victron, fresh and waste water tanks, each with a capacity of 10 liters, and a kitchenette. Optionally, the (or do you say "die"?) WildBox can be equipped with a 200-watt solar system on the roof, a Dometic compressor refrigerator or a ceramic hob. A special eye-catcher is the optionally available children's bed, which stretches like a camp bed over the foot area of the gigantic parents' bed. The WildBox One, a Dutch creation, is distributed in Germany by Wheelhouse GmbH, among others. The basic version of the well-equipped mini caravan is available for EUR 23.400.
