From the small Spanish coachbuilder steal from the city of Granada there is a new retro vehicle. At least a new edition. It is based on the "Grand Albaycin" presented in 2021 (see below) and shows itself in the well-known vintage style. The vehicles are all based on the Mazda MX-5. According to the manufacturer, the new special edition is inspired by the Arabic culture in Al-Andalus and has small visual accents compared to the regular Grand Albaycin. The body is painted in light blue, said to be inspired by the color of the sky in the United Arab Emirates. There are also Taracea ribbons on the doors, a nameplate with the model name in Arabic calligraphy and the UAE flag can also be seen.
Hurtan Grand Albaycin UAE Edition
There will only be 30 copies of the limited roadster and apparently all of them will have no technical changes compared to the regular Grand Albaycin. So far there is no information on the price of the limited model, but the normal Hurtan costs at least €59.000 as a soft top version with a basic engine (1,5 litres) and the more powerful 2,0 liter model only starts at around €82.300. So we reckon with at least €85.000. Quite a lot for a pimped MX-5! If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
