Nachdem AC Schnitzer in November last year the Design Study 8er Coupe (ACS8 5.0i) with to the Essen Motor Show (1. to 9. December 2018) is now the official AC Schnitzer program for the BMW 8er (G14, G15) available. And all in all, the so-called ACS8 nothing further changed since then. The components for the aerodynamics package were practically adopted and there are only a few minor deviations in the performance increase. The M850i xDrive with N63B44T3 engine and 390 kW / 530 PS & 750 NM standard output receives a performance jump to 456 kW / 620 PS & 840 NM (measured according to test method WLTP / Euro 6d-TEMP) and this upgrade is available for vehicles with and without gas filter SA 01DE. On 840d xDrive, on the other hand, the performance is increased from 320 PS / 680 Nm to 380 PS / 780 Nm, as announced.

There is also a sports exhaust system with exhaust flaps optionally bring carbon black tailpipes. The new wheel / tire combinations in 20 and 21 Zoll include the AC3 lightweight forged wheels in silver anthracite, anthracite-silver or the AC1 version with BiColor optics. And so that the new wheelset sits perfectly in the wheel well, a lowering must not be missing. Here Schnitzer has a suspension spring set with a reduction of about 20 - 25 mm on the front and rear axles in the range. And also the body kit can be ordered now.
