BMW M5 Competition (F90 LCI) with +1.200 hp thanks to Stage 4 tuning!

[Update: 18.09.2023] This post was updatedto take more recent information into account. It is undoubtedly one of the sportiest four-door models and has been loved by fans for decades. We're talking about BMW M5. As a competition variant, it is one of the most powerful vehicles that BMW has ever built as standard. And admittedly you don't see it, because the design of the production model is extremely subtle. Today, however, we would like to give you a modified one M5 Competition (F90 LCI/Facelift) of the current generation, which was tuned by Ramon Performance and a Russian influencer named Asco heard. The video of the vehicle comes from the YouTube channel RoCars.

Carbon for more sportiness!

With the black kidneys and the black front spoiler, the M5 Competition looks extremely sporty even when stationary. In addition, there is a bonnet with a carbon look, which conjures up a limousine in the appearance of a sports car from the discreet travel glider. New exterior mirrors, which are also black, give the four-door super sports car a striking appearance. When choosing the exhaust, the tuner decided on one Sports exhaust system from Akrapovic, which sounds much more robust and sonorous than in the standard version.

The Rims feature a concave double-spoke design and a gloss black finish. They skilfully round off the sporty design, which was already brought to light by the carbon bonnet. A carbon rear diffuser was also installed to make the rear of the sedan look significantly more aggressive. This is joined by one Rump spoiler, which borrows from the spoiler of the M5 CS. Last but not least, wide side skirts for an aggressive look that does justice to the massive power that we'll discuss later.

The interior is classy!

Orange-brown leather as far as the eye can see and various comfort features make the cockpit of the car a homely landscape. An M-Performance sports steering wheel made of carbon and Alcantara and multi-adjustable M-Performance sports seats present themselves to the driver as soon as he opens the driver's door. The M5 also has all conceivable comfort and technology features that make everyday life more pleasant.

Crazy 1.200 hp for great driving pleasure!

The 4,4-liter twin-turbo V8 was built using a Stage 4 optimization pushed to incredible 1.206 PS (1.189 HP). The resulting time for the intermediate sprint of 100 - 200 km/h is breathtaking 3,5 seconds and the standard sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes a crazy 2,4 seconds. And maximum are current 350 km/h inside! Power is transmitted to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. And we also have an indication of the maximum torque. It lies with 1.348 NM well into the four-digit range.

Fastest F90 M5 Ever?

According to the owner, the 5 Series is called the BMW M5 F90 LCI Batusai Stage 4 RS1200 and it was significantly modified even before the Stage 4 conversion. According to the owner, with the previously installed Stage 2 tuning, it was the fastest F90 M5 in the world with serial chargers. With the last upgrade, extensive changes were made to the engine and transmission and the turbochargers have also been revised. According to the owner, the vehicle has already set a world record for BMW M vehicles over the 1/2 mile without final fine-tuning.

Our conclusion:

  • A dream for every quarter mile fan who is also a dad! On the drag strip that should M5 Most super athletes and some even hypercars show the OLED taillights. The BMW M5 has always stood for a successful mix of sportiness and luxury. As M5 Competition he impresses with his power and discretion. The real highlight is hidden under the hood: thanks to Stage 4 optimization, the 4,4-liter V8 biturbo achieves a breathtaking 1.206 hp. The impressive performance could do this BMW M5 making it the fastest of its generation if the owner's statements are to be believed. It's not just one Limousine, but thanks to the tuning a ““BMW Wild Limousine”. With the M5 Competition will be the sedan price however a new chapter has opened.

  1. I have questions. The first – how many places are in your car (I think 4-5)? How long can it drive (km)? And how much does it cost?
