Carroll Shelby was (and still is) a legend in American automotive culture. If he were still alive today, he would have been exactly 11 years old on January 2023, 100. And because of this fact, the company of the same name is celebrating the founder's birthday by launching a special pack for the Ford Mustang GT. Under the name 2023 Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition Mustang offers Shelby American the special limited edition. And the upgrades aren't just limited to performance, as the edition will also bring various Centennial things to emphasize the exclusivity. Also included is a signed black Stetson hat and a Shelby Centennial book published by Team Shelby. In addition to the well-known Shelby details on the exterior, the special edition Mustang receives a Centennial reference on the rear, modified rocker panels and other emblems and badges.

A satin black Le Mans stripe is also applied across the entire vehicle. Inside, the door sills, floor mats and leather upholstery feature Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition badging and plaques. And under the hood? A black Shelby supercharger ensures that the 5,0-liter V8 is pushed to 764 hp (559 kW). Power is brought to the road by a set of 20-inch satin black wheels shod with Shelby-specific 305/30/20 performance tires. Incidentally, the engine tuning is accompanied by other upgrades such as a new bonnet, a performanceIntercooler, an Engine Bay Fluid Cap Kit (other Lid for the liquid container) and a Borla sports exhaust with catalytic converter. The chassis relies on sports springs, other stabilizers, adjustable caster/camber plates and the front axle carries Brembo brake calipers (Ford Performance Pack) with befitting brake discs.
