Icon Project Vehicle #100: a Ford Bronco Restomod!

From the American tuner Icon is the 100th completed vehicle. This is a one-off production based on the in-house New school edition. In other words, under the hood sits a 5,0 liter Coyote V8 which is coupled to a four-speed automatic. The classic also decelerates all around with a Brembo sports brake system. The latest copy is officially called by the way ICON Bronco 100. The basis for the conversion was a 1974 Bronco equipped with a six-cylinder engine. Almost 50 years later, the off-roader has a lot of modern components including a V8 under the hood. The basis for the Bronco 100 is the one already mentioned New school theme pack by Icon. And as the name suggests, it gives the classic SUV a modern twist with a livery inspired by the current model.

It also has a large number of new mechanical parts. And there is even one in the cabin, where you can see a special instrument cluster and MIG Jet dashboard lighting. And of course the Bronco 100 also has a modified chassis, as befits a good restomod. Icon relies on Eibach coil springs in combination with FOX racing shock absorbers and the aforementioned V8 can be used with specially adapted Exhaust System made of stainless steel.

And what is already perfect on the outside is continued on the inside. Because the cabin is also at the same quality level. Da icon with the upholstered furniture manufacturer Spinneybeck working together, it is guaranteed that only extremely hard-wearing leather is used, which offers all the well-known advantages of leather, but requires far less care than comparable types of leather. It also features a new silicone material that mimics fabric, creating a classic yet easy-to-clean surface.

the interest is unbroken

A commitment to advancement in the field of restomods is part of what makes the Tuner ICON excellent. Incidentally, after the last 10 years, the company does not expect demand to drop in the near future. "It's incredible how far we've come with the last 100 Bronco vehicles. And over time, my passion for the Bronco hasn't waned in the slightest. ICON prides itself on the challenge of continually pushing the boundaries of what is possible on every project for our clients"Said the tuner in a statement.
