Monsters on the road: Ford F-450 Platinum RS Edition Dually!

Something big is rolling onto the streets of Atlanta, Georgia, and it's no ordinary pickup truck. The experts from Road Show International have a Ford F-450 Platinum of the fourth generation F-Series and turned it into a formidable beast. Curtain up for theRS Edition Dually", an XXL vehicle that looks like it just stepped out of a science fiction movie. Let's start with the exterior. The body of the F-450 Platinum was finished with a shimmering Pearl metallic paint provided that by red accents is spiced up. They extend from the crimson ones Calipers to red details in the Headlights and to the Rearview mirrors. But, as if that weren't enough, Road Show International has the 4500 one Retrax Pro MX truck bed cover and dark RS Smoke rear lights and Headlights lost. However, the real transformation takes place underneath.

With a Any level lift kit the F-450 has an impressive 12 inch height increase get controlled by a handy app. A air spring system on the subframe and white/red powder-coated chassis components give it additional character. And to top it off, were gigantic 30 inch chrome rims with A/T off-road tires assembled. But that's still not all. The pickup is with RGB LED lights equipped that surround the vehicle and one LED lighting in the rims, which can be controlled via Bluetooth. The windows and windshield were also fitted with a Nano ceramic coating treated and the paint is through a ceramic protective coating protected. Even a matching two-tone one plate frame is part of the party. Despite all the modifications, Road Show International has kept the interior of the F-450 in its original condition, in the style of the Ford Platinum Super Duty Package.

Under the hood: power and speed

The F-450 Platinum is not only an eye-catcher, it also has a lot of power. Under the hood sits 6,7 liter turbo diesel, the impressive 475 PS and a maximum torque of 1.424 Nm delivers. The monster accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9 seconds and reaches a top speed of an impressive 241 km/h. But not with these tires! Although the latest generation of the Super Duty series is already on the market, Road Show International is proving with the project that even older examples can still impress. The F-450 Platinum RS Edition Dually is definitely an off-roader that will be remembered. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
