Friedrich Performance presents its Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS

Friedrich Performance gives the 718 Cayman top model GT4 RS an even more extreme look. Friedrich Motorsport, a tuner from Upper Franconia in Lichtenfels, has had a firm place in the tuning world for decades. The focus is without question on first-class exhaust systems. However, additional tuning parts are also produced under the Friedrich Performance Manufaktur label, in particular carbon body parts for the noble speedsters from Porsche. Friedrich Performance recently developed a comprehensive carbon kit for the 718 Cayman GT4RS presented. The front end is mainly enhanced by a three-piece spoiler lip and angled air intake cover for the bumper. In addition, side canards and inserts for the side air inlets and the air outlet are installed under the front flap.

New inserts for the ventilation openings on the front fenders, other sills, covers for the air intakes behind the doors and side rear apron attachments refine the side line of the Cayman. The latter accompany a striking diffuser insert with six distinctive fins. A little further up on the tailgate, there is already a large, fixed RS wing ex works, which Friedrich Performance has upgraded with new end plates and an extended Gurney flap. In addition to the carbon kit, Friedrich naturally also remains true to its core competencies and offers a range of components for the GT4 RS to improve the exhaust system. The high-performance system includes everything from fan headers to rear silencers with valve control.

The sports exhaust systems ensure an even more aggressive and powerful sound from the four-liter naturally aspirated engine adopted from the 911 GT3. With regard to the wheels, Friedrich Performance remains with the vehicle from the pictures with the original forged wheels with central locking. These impress with a contemporary cross-spoke design and a satin neodyme finish. The dimensions are 8,5×20 and 11×20 inches, while the associated tires measure 245/35ZR20 and 295/30ZR20. About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
