The MX-5 from Mazda has been an integral part of the manufacturer's portfolio for years and is considered one of the top models in the affordable sports car sector. And the proud owners of the agile roadster often show a preference for giving their vehicle a personal touch. A cool example is the current ND model from Richard, which goes by the handle “Jokers_ND“ is represented on Instagram and has given his car various visual and technical refinements. One focus of the modifications was reducing the vehicle's weight. This is where the Summa rim came from Barracuda Racing Wheels in the game.

Thanks to the flow forming manufacturing process, the wheel, which is built in 7,5×17 inches, is surprisingly light, weighing just 7,5 kilograms. Richard chose the Matt Bronze finish and the corresponding tires measure 205/40ZR17. The ideal lowering of the vehicle was achieved by a VMAX coilovers. This, in combination with the H&R stabilizers, significantly improves the driving characteristics. Visually, Richard's MX-5 also impresses with a number of striking features. What is worth highlighting is this: Aerodynamics GT-Flex spoiler at the rear and the front was equipped with a specially made hood with two, three-part air inlets.

Additional visual accents are Extensions on the front apron as well LED side markers and tail lights. As a crowning touch, the roadster was given a striking dark purple matt foil, matching the name “Jokers ND”. And the MX-5 sets standards not only visually but also acoustically: thanks to one Sports exhaust system, including new elbow and more adapted Electronics, the MX-5 produces a robust sound from its centrally positioned tailpipes.
