Exclusive alloy wheels are the passion of Extreme customs from Gerolzhofen. But also one-off tuning parts are among the specialties of the tuner. In doing so, Thomas Beringer and his company AMG- and Mercedes models and regularly present their latest creations on star carriers. In co-operation with Car Perner, a company based at the same address, has now presented a modified Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster, which has undergone extensive conversions.

GT C Roadster with GT R look!

The vehicle has been sharpened significantly and almost completely rebuilt to GT R optics in order to achieve a significantly higher road presence. The front, fenders, rear wing, rear diffuser and exhaust come from the GT R Roadster. In addition, the optics were additionally enhanced by a carbon bonnet, carbon wheelhouse vents at the front, wheel arch extensions on the rear axle (each from the range of TIKT performance) and a front spoiler lip from Aerodynamics.

Real jewels rotate in the wheel arches. The selected wheels are AMP Forged AMP52V rims in the dimensions 10×20 and 12×21 inches in the extraordinary “Brushed Coffee” finish. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in 275/30R20 format are also used on the front axle, while thick cylinders of the same tire type in 325/25R21 format at the rear guarantee traction in all situations. The car also received a KW Variant 4 chassis with individually adjustable compression and rebound damping and height adjustment.

725 hp ensure powerful propulsion!

Of course, Extreme Customs can not only lend a hand to the optics, but also turn the performance screw powerfully. The double-charged 4-liter petrol engine has been upgraded from the factory 557 hp to an incredible 725 PS pushed and now even outshines the GT R with its "only" 585 hp. However, we have no information on the mileage. Power is transmitted via an AMG Speedshift transmission with nine gears and exclusively to the rear wheels.

Our conclusion:

  • Extreme Customs lives up to the name. From our point of view, it is a great conversion that will certainly cause a sensation. About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
