Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe from tuner Wald International

Mercedes-Benz recently launched the new GLE Coupe (C 167) the official successor to the GLE series C 292 (2015-2019) presented. The model change usually has the consequence that the supposedly "old model" loses significantly in value and will increasingly find its way into the tuning industry. And the Japanese tuner Wald International would like to equip itself with a small body kit. Surprisingly, however, this is not referred to as the “Black Bison Kit” as is usual, but as a so-called “Sports Line” aerodynamic kit. But that doesn't really make a difference as we think. As far as we know, the kit is suitable for all GLE Coupés from model years 2016 to 2019, which probably also applies to the top model as the GLE 63 AMG.

And the kit is based on its sporty look. Optionally, it can also be expanded with a Panamericana grille, which is not included in the scope of delivery. Of course, the focus is on the completely new front apron with huge air intakes and integrated LED daytime running lights as well as the apron for the rear. While the side skirts remained unusually standard, the Japanese tuner still has a modified rear apron with a suggested rear diffuser and a central LED brake light. All components can be installed at the standard mounting points, so that a retrofitting to the original state is possible at any time. And of course this also applies to the various wheel sets that Wald International has available.

10,5 x 24 inches on the Mercedes GLE Coupe

Installed on the Cherry-red foiled vehicle is the type ILLIMA 3PCS Forged / I13-F, which optimally fills the wheel arches thanks to the subtle lowering. The decision was made for an oversized version in 10,5 x 24 inches, which we think is quite suitable. In general, the body kit looks good and is a chic alternative to the many known kits of the established Mercedes tuners as we find. We only know nothing about a possible approval for Europe and especially Germany.
