The breathtaking Mercedes S-Class of the W223 series has been at the start for more than two years. And it's known for its impressive range of petrol models, equipped with mild hybrid or plug-in technology, as well as various diesel variants. A real gem is the S 580, equipped with a Biturbo V8, the strong one 503 PS and a maximum torque of 700 Nm delivers. Plus des 48V crankshaft starter generator, which temporarily provides an additional boost of up to 20 PS and 250 Nm cares. But here it comes: The DTE team has put an even more impressive variant on the wheels. With the in-house PowerControl RX unit increase the performance of the four-liter unit by up to 85 PS and 129 Nm up. The additional control unit is simply in the Plug & Play process attached, reads various parameters at the same time and sends them back to the control unit in an optimized form.

But that's not all: users have the choice between three different driving programs, each with seven power levels. Including one efficiency program, the one fuel reduction promises of up to 15 percent. The steering the PowerControl RX is done either directly via the buttons on the device or via a App. The latter also has a warm-up timer and the so-called sports instruments, which display important values such as turbo and intake manifold pressure, engine speed or lateral and longitudinal acceleration.
