The Mercedes-AMG GT (C 190) is expected to be launched as a mighty “Black Series” edition this year. With this, Mercedes-AMG is probably finally putting the crown on the current GT series. Changes compared to the normal GT are optimized aerodynamics and of course more power. The engine has a new type of cross-plane crankshaft and an ignition sequence offset by 90 degrees. This should ensure a lot of torque even at low and medium speeds. And so that the top model really stands out from the previous GT, the Panamericana grill will probably grow again, there will be an adjustable front splitter and integrated flics in the apron. And a modified rear tail is also apparently planned. And various prototypes even showed a modified exhaust system with a rear apron based on the SLS AMG Black Series.

It remains to be seen whether the engine will actually break the 700 hp mark. However, a price beyond the 220.000 euros is already certain. If you want a number cheaper and hardly less aggressive at the same time, you should contact the Senner Tuning AG team from Ingelheim am Rhein. They show a similarly powerful variant with a modified AMG GT, but you don't have to wait for months. And the AMG GT from Senner certainly does not shy away from the brave use of the track and is easily the limited one in terms of performance GT R Pro with 585 hp in the shade. On request, the tuner can equip the 522 hp and 670 Nm 4,0-liter biturbo V8 with the in-house stage 1 optimization (plus optional power converter module) out. The result of chip tuning and K&N sports air filter inserts are then 632 PS and 750 Nm torque. The upgrade by means of a flap exhaust system is acoustically noticeable and the use of the standard tailpipe trims cannot be distinguished from the component ex works.

Cor.Speed DeVille alloy wheels

And visually there are a few important differences compared to the series. Senner Tuning put the blue photo vehicle on a set of Cor.Speed DeVille light-alloy rims with a bright finish in silver brushed and the finely brushed spokes that perfectly match the paint in designo brilliant blue magno. The dimensions of the aluminum are 9 × 20 inches at the front with 265 / 30R20 Pirelli P Zero tires and at the rear there were 10,5 × 21 inches with powerful 305 / 25R21 slippers. And so that the wheel set sits optimally in the wheel arch, a set of KW coil springs is installed, which are compatible with the electronic OEM damping system and allow lowering of 0-25 millimeters at the front and 10-30 millimeters at the rear. We currently have no further details on the Senner AMG GT. If we receive timely information on further changes not previously mentioned, there is of course an update for this report.
