Fresh out of production and straight into the hands of the tuner - the new one BMW M2 the second generation (G87) has definitely had an amazing journey. And TVW Car Design from Crailsheim has included a copy of the M2 in its repertoire and let its tuning magic work on it. The result is a feast for the eyes, both optical as well as most technically. The most striking feature of the TVW-M2 is its eye-catching paint finish M Zandvoort ex works. With its unmistakable and sometimes controversial body kit, the new M2 is a real eye-catcher right from the factory. TVW Car Design therefore saw little need for changes to the body, with one exception: a larger one made of carbon now sits enthroned on the boot lid spoiler instead of the smaller production model.

Of course, TVW Car Design, known for their impressive wheel/tire combos, has a new set for the M2 Rims lost. The experts were surprised at how much clearance the wheel arches of the compact M2 actually offer and so rims of the type CF.3-FF R from Partners Wheelsforce in sizes 10,5×20 at the front and 11,5×21 at the rear. A 21-inch wheel on a two-seater BMW? That's tough. An E65 7er used to drive around with it and was stately equipped with it. Crazy how times change. The new Alus are made by Michelin Reifen in the dimensions 285/30ZR20 & 305/20ZR21. In order to perfectly align the wheels with the fender edges, all-round spacers used. As a finish, TVW chose a deep one Black, but the company has the CF.3-FF R rims alternatively in Gloss Steel or Satin Bronze for the M2 at the start.
Variant 4 coilover suspension for the M2
The centerpiece of the upgrade, however, is the landing gear. As an official partner of KW Performance it was natural for TVW to give the BMW a chassis upgrade. Although the built Variant 4 coilover kit is not yet officially available for the M2, the TVW team has extensively customized it to achieve the best possible handling. With the supplementary KW club sport handlebars they achieved an impressive performance. With the modifications, according to TVW, the M2 can definitely compete with its big brothers, the M3 and M4, keep up. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
