The heart of every true BMW fan warms at the thought of one E46 M3 certainly beat higher. But while we have done many DIY conversions as E46 M3 Touring have seen, this inconspicuous one stands out Limousine definitely off. It is known that BMW has also brought factory sedans with an M3 feeling into play in the past. In the late 2000s and early 2010s, for example, with the M3 E90 sedan, which from the E92 M3 Coupe emerged. And don't forget that... E36 M3 was also available in a four-door version. The E46 M3, however, was familiar actually only as a coupe or convertible. When you first look at the limo in the pictures, you could swear it came straight from the hallowed halls of BMW.

But in reality the adventure started with one 2001 320i SE. What followed was a transformation of superlatives: from a complete one M3 upgrade with M3 manual switch via the Motorwhich Transmission and Suspension, to details like that Rearview mirrors, the front one Fenders with gills, the bonnet with Powerdome, the purse front and back and even that trunk floor, the one M sport exhaust If there is room, everything is there.
Not to be overlooked, that Interior, that until 300 km/h M3 speedometer was adjusted accordingly. Even the Rims and the Bremsanlage come from the M3. And if you think that the car now looks like a typical tuned runabout, you're wrong. Apart from the darkened front ones Blinkers, the individual LED taillights and the little one spoiler On the tailgate, there is nothing to be seen that betrays the DIY character. The mileage of 96.000 miles (154.000 km) on the odometer corresponds to the actual mileage of the car 3,2-liter S54 inline six-cylinder.
The whole thing is rounded off by a subtle Steel gray metallic paint and standard 18-inch wheels, which are more reserved compared to the optional M3 19-inchers. If you're interested in getting behind the wheel of the right-hand-drive UK gem, the M3 is currently on the auction site Car and Classic offered. A real treat for lovers!
