Toyota Hiace Restomod models from FlexDream for TAS2023!

The Toyota Hiace is a welcome guest when it comes to tuning Japanese automobiles on the Asian continent. It is therefore not surprising that there are many tuning companies that offer very special conversions for the model. And the tuner FlexDream has chosen for its latest creations the fifth generation of the Hiace selected, which is still on the market in Japan, although the successor has been available to order for some time.

Various personalization options!

The tuner offers different possibilities, a Toyota Hiace to modify individually. It doesn't matter whether it's about different color combinations, accessories or chassis, there is something on offer for every purpose and every taste. As an identifier for the change by the tuner FlexDream applies the retro design on the front. It is strongly reminiscent of the third generation of the Hiace, which was also popular in Europe. LED lamps at the front and various other changes, which include LED auxiliary lights, fog lights, various grill variants or fender flares, also cause a stir.

There are also various wheel rim sets, lowering kits or off-road kits with lift and revised chassis, which master every challenge of everyday life. The gray painted vehicle is a lowered example that has a whopping 5 centimeters less ground clearance than the production version. The van rolls on 17-inch aluminum wheels and Falken Performance tires have been fitted to emphasize its sportiness. The Hiace also has screwed-on fender flares. Other models could be seen at the Tokyo Auto Salon and they also shone with various tuning variations.

For example, a yellow camper conversion was represented, which with fake wood stickers and a revised chassis is made for camping adventures in the great outdoors. The vehicle stood on 16-inch Brut alloys shod with Toyo Open Country R/T tires that promise more grip on rough terrain. Jaos fender attachments and bumpers with a matt black Line-X look were also installed to make the car less sensitive to impact. LED auxiliary headlights, fog lights and a large roof rack from ARB ensure unprecedented variability, which even makes it possible to attach a roof tent to the Hiace.

And finally ...

  • The FlexDream vehicles can be admired on the tuner's official website and the vans cost between 3.998.000 yen (approx. €31.000) and 6.902.000 yen (approx. €53.000) including conversion, depending on which donor vehicle you bring and what you want has. So anyone can Hiace-Owner put together his individual model, which he then from the tuning workshop FlexDream can be realized.
