Volkswagen currently has the "20th Anniversary Edition“ of the Golf R (MK8) for North America presented. The special edition is limited to “approx. 1.800 vehicles” and bring special design details. What it though not will give is the slight increase in performance for the engine (EA888 evo4) as in Golf R "20 Years". That means, not 333 hp provide propulsion, but continue 320 little horse. Like the "normal" Golf R, the edition will also be equipped with the seven-speed DSG gearbox or alternatively with a six-speed manual gearbox. Apparently the sunroof, which is standard on the Golf R, is not available. Chic ones rotate in the wheel arches 19 inch Estoril rims in glossy black, the with summer tires (235/35) are equipped.
