Carbon dwarf: 220 PS Abarth 595 from Carrotec for Racoon!

This completely turned inside out Fiat 500 you have to see. And the base isn't something just a 500, it's actually a 595 Competizione from the house Abarth. And it has hardly anything to do with the round retro design of the series. The unique piece was made by the Swiss tuner Carrotec from Arlesheim and is on behalf of Racoon Cleaner developed. We at tuningblog have also worked with Racoon several times in Germany (many greetings at this point) and now the company has even started sales in Switzerland. And to make a name for themselves there, two advertising vehicles were built. And there is one thing we would like to take a closer look at now. Namely on the Italian poison dwarf.

The 595 received, among other things, quite a flood Carbon parts. Among other things Mirror covers, the Door handles, the Sideskirt approaches, the Roof spoiler, the Trunk lid handle strip, can mounts the taillight units or the aggressive one diffuser. But that's not all.

There was that up front Clasp with the company logo, the air intake including and even the Front spoiler lips with frame made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The noble material falls due to the dated Foil Center Zurich applied colorful Vollfolierung in grafitti style and with the typical Racoon corporate colors (Turquoise, magenta, black, gray, white) only really appears at second glance. The design is too extreme and the film keeps attracting the eye again and again. In contrast, the in-house facilities are almost "subtle" Carrotec forged rims in silver with a brushed front.

Carrotec forged rims in 8,5 × 18 inches all around

The new aluminum front and rear in the format 8,5 × 18 inches and in combination with 215/35 Hankook slippers. Due to a lowering by means of Vmaxx coilover kit and at the front by about 3 cm drawn fenders the wheel set sits perfectly in the wheel arch. And such a blatant look naturally calls for more Performance. The Carrotec team therefore installed a special one Suction kit, there were new ones Injectors and also one downpipe is in. In combination with a software optimization by the specialists at HRE Performance Solutions the 1,4-liter turbo four-cylinder gains approx. 220 PS and 300 Nm Torque.

a lot of carbon in the cabin too

And there was even more carbon than there was on the outside IN the cabin. Because there were more than 40 new components made of carbon. Regardless of whether Steering wheel including steering column, Parts of dashboard, the Center console, the Door panels to the Seats, everything shines in a noble carbon outfit. The result is an extremely successful show vehicle, which, in combination with the also refined Dacia Dokker (Foiling, rims etc.) will hopefully contribute to the great success of Racoon Cleaner in Oberwil, Switzerland.
