In mid-September this year, the Japanese tuner presented us Liberty Walk officially one modified Honda NSX which is also sold as the Acura NSX. After the first Study in the year 2015, as well as the beginning of this year virtually presented widebody copy, we were a bit disappointed that apparently there shouldn't be a particularly fat variant of the Japanese athlete. But we were wrong because the extreme version had long been completed and only for the previous one SEMA Show in Las Vegas (October 31 to November 3) "saved up".
Those who want to cause a stir at this car show, must bring something very special. And the NSX with wide body kit from LB WORKS definitely brings with it the necessary criteria. The vehicle belongs to JJ Dubec, who actually earns his money as a doctor from the doctor of medicine. Tuning is but his passion and so the Canadian has decided to tailor the body kit in the typical Liberty Walk style to the Acura.
At the factory, the NSX is already lush 1,93 meters wide and now it has grown significantly in dimensions again. The main component is, of course, the characteristic, mounted and conspicuously screwed, fender flares all around. But not only that! Even the familiar front splitter, the side sill approaches or the powerful diffuser approach found on Acura place. Visually, this is particularly striking in this example because the partially dark color is a successful contrast to the white body.
And the black lacquered details such as the rear air outlets or those in the bonnet also contribute to this. The unmistakable highlight, however, is the crazy rear wing made of carbon that even has a small spoiler lip. And, of course, the much larger wheel arches must also be optimally filled. This can be achieved with a set of three-piece Savini SV67 forged wheels in 20 inches which, with their curved Y-spokes, perfectly underline the dynamics of the NSX.
There are no experiments on the surface of the Alus that come in the classic silver. However, if you look closely, you will see that the stars are brighter than the brushed rim beds. Equipped are the new Alus with Nitto tires in 245 / 30 ZR20 at the front and fat 305 / 30 ZR20 behind. And so that the wheelset fits perfectly in the wheel arch, nothing else was used than an Airride air suspension. With Nova Damper air spring legs and two Viair compressors, it is possible the NSX at the touch of a button (Control by Airlift Performance 3H management system) to the desired vehicle height.
The tanks were painted black so that the view into the trunk behind the mid-engine is just as high-quality as the rest of the vehicle. And of course you had to give the 3,5 liter 581 PS V6 including turbocharging (+ 3 electric motors) the right soundscape. This was achieved by means of the Armytrix catback exhaust system made of titanium, which with downpipes ensures crazy acoustics. If we get more details about the changes, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
