Fat ADRO widebody kit on the new Toyota GR86 Coupe!

The full program, please! The order for this Toyota GR86 Coupe to the tuner ADRO was probably something like this. The boys and girls from ADRO have had an extensive one in the past few months Carbon widebody kit developed for the GR86 and the result is the vehicle from the pictures. Aerodynamic Development Race Optimization (short ADRO) unveiled the extensive a few days ago styling kit for the Japanese sports car and gives the GR86 an ultra-wide profile fender attachments all round as well as bespoke purse. The result is one of the currently most violent vehicles based on the GR86 next to the conversion of Kuhl-Racing and the (yet) virtual preview of Pandem. The kit from ADRO reminds us particularly in terms of front apron a little bit like a Lamborghini Aventador. The three large air vents (right/left/central) and the subtle visible carbon front splitter could also come from Italy in terms of design.

The apron also ensures a sharper and lower front compared to the series, which in combination with the much larger air intakes already mentioned makes for a unique look. The front apron then merges to a certain extent with the screwed ones Fender attachmentswho are in the style of Liberty Walk & Co., With exposed screw connections are stocked. There are also gills in the fenders and a set wider sill Swords. The highlight, however, are clearly the extremely fat ones fender flares back.

They complete the martial look in combination with the high adjustable Gooseneck rear wing made of carbon fiber and a matching one diffuser away. The multi-part ADRO Forged also apparently come from ADRO XXL drop center rims and only the extreme Lowering (using Airride) has nothing to do with the tuner. However, the body kit would be extremely ridiculous in combination with the standard rims and the OEM chassis. In our opinion, anyone who installs such a kit must also complete the conversion consistently. And that's exactly what they did and even a black one strip foiling applied over the hood and tailgate.

not only optics, also sense & purpose

Incidentally, according to ADRO, each kit is made of fiber-reinforced polymer and wet carbon fiber and takes over 40 hours to make manual to finish. You also have the certainty that the aerodynamic performance has been tested using CFD analysis and that the kit "works" effectively. It generates an additional one compared to the series downforce of 90 kg. Incidentally, the ADRO Toyota GR86 will be presented this November at the SEMA Auto Show. The kit should cost from. $4.750 and it's with the sister model too Subaru BRZ compatible. If we get more information about the changes, there will of course be an update for this report.
