The Jaguar E-Type is undoubtedly one of the most iconic cars ever built. But what happens when you combine the classic with a modern, and very special, Power Type combined? The result is this Jaguar E Type 2JZ. The crazy unique model combines the unmistakable charm of the old E-Type with the raw performance of the legendary one 2JZ engine. For those unfamiliar with the subject, the 2JZ is an engine that is in the Drift scene for his Reliability and his Performance is known. Faruk Kugay, a well-known name in the drifting community, decided to put the powerful engine in a 1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2.

But what actually makes the turbo Jaguar so special? Firstly, it is the Performance, With a Borg Warner EFR 8474 turbocharger equipped, the 2JZ performs insanely 750 PS. But the modifications don't end there. To cope with the force, a BMW E60 substructure , and a M3 E36 five-speed gearbox used. It may come as a surprise that Kugay not for the popular G-Force gearbox but each building block of the car was chosen with a specific purpose and vision in mind.
And in addition to the drive train, numerous others were developed adjustments carried out on the British classic to make the E-Type drift-ready. Although it is not the first 2JZ Jaguar - another project has already been launched in the UK - there is no question that Kugay's implementation is unique and very successful. In conclusion it can be said that the Jaguar E Type 2JZ is an insane combination of classic looks and state-of-the-art technology. A vehicle that makes the hearts of both classic car lovers and drift enthusiasts beat faster.
