Can you still remember the limited "Rembrandt & L'Or Blanc“Remember variants of the Bugatti Veyron? An exclusive and unique design ensured that the price passed the 2 million euro mark without any problems. And for the almost identical purchase price, an Audi R8 V10 plus is now to be sold as a “Final Fantasy” edition. The vehicle is currently being offered on “Classic Trader” at a price of 2.140.094 euros and comes from a Japanese car dealer. But why is this specimen a good 10 times more expensive than a normal R8 V10 Plus? It is a Single copy and the official name is “The Audi R8 Star of Lucis". The car is based on the cult game "Final Fantasy XV - Kingsglaive".
The Audi R8 Star of Lucis
The special features of the R2016 presented in 8 by the Square Enix “Final Fantasy” makers and Audi are particularly optical. On the outside there are pretty spacey ornament rims and the black painted body is decorated in many places with silver flower tendrils. Allegedly, the lacquer is the "noblest black color of the Lucis Kingdom" and there is also the "arabesque-like relief" of the fictional government dynasty. The rest of the R8, however, is standard. The 5,2-liter FSI with 610 PS and 560 Nm torque is installed and accelerates the athlete to a top speed of 330 km / h. Is the price justified? Probably for a real “Final Fantasy” fan, for us definitely not!
