Video: Mercedes-AMG C63 S vs. BMW M3 Touring (F81)

There will probably never be an official drag race between a Mercedes-AMG C63 S (W205) and a BMW M3 Touring (F81). While Mercedes has been deciding for years to build a powerful station wagon as the C63 AMG T-model in the middle class, BMW is stubbornly reluctant to build an M3 Touring. But what if you love drag races with strong suits? The direct rivalry between the German high-performance models from Mercedes-Benz and BMW can be found on "almost" every vehicle level. Why not in this class too? Then you just have to build the F81 BMW M3 Touring yourself and compete against the Mercedes-AMG C63 S as a T-model. This is exactly what the Youtubers from CarWow have done.

And with THIS M3 Touring. A formerly modest 320d (F31), which was converted with original M3 parts from a destroyed F80 including the drive train. And by means of tuning, the engine even produces 540 PS (403 KW) compared to the 510 PS (380 KW) of the AMG S 205 T-model. However, unlike the Mercedes, the BMW has no all-wheel drive. The station wagons fight against each other in four races. Two from the start, there is a rolling start with a clear winner and a brake test. Incidentally, both vehicles drive the quarter mile in 12 seconds and easily reach 250 km / h on the test track.
