BMW does not have a “real” off-roader like the Mercedes G-Class. But the owner of this first generation X5 (E53) really wanted to change that and turn the SUV into a real off-roader. In addition, the Munich is on powerful Westlake M/T tires, has a raised Suspension and one intake snorkel, so that a river crossing is also possible. In addition, the front apron removed and behind is one Presenters Mounted on tailgate for access to Roof rack to allow. Various other changes were made to the chassis and, so that the off-road slippers are properly covered, there is also a set Wheel arch installed all around. With a LED light bar on the roof and a mighty Underrun protection essentially rounds off the changes.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
