It's been two years since Land Rover presented the highlight of the various equipment variants for the large range at the New York International Auto Show 2015 with the SV Autobiography. The idea for the implementation came from the “Special Vehicle Operations” team. The SVAutobiography is available with two different wheelbases and for the first time it has a two-tone “duo-tone” body styling and a new radiator grille in dark graphite atlas and high-gloss chrome. But there were not only changes on the outside, but also on the inside. For the interior, Land Rover only used high-quality materials such as leather, wood applications or noble & decorated aluminum. And the drive is also appropriate if requested. The most powerful engine is the supercharged V8 engine made of all-aluminum, which we already know from the Range Rover Sport SVR. But it was optimized again for the autobiography. The key data are: 5,0-liter displacement, 405 kW (550 PS), and a maximum torque of 680 Nm. That is enough to make the SV Autobiography the most powerful Range Rover in the 45-year history of the model.

But as it is, there is still enough room for individuality with such a car. Kahn Design has taken on a RANGE ROVER 4.4 SDV8 AUTOBIOGRAPHIE LWB LE top model and gives the large range its very own personal touch. This does not require extremely extensive changes but important details in exactly the right places make the difference here. The most extensive change is definitely the new front and rear bumpers including carbon inlays as well as the new RS600 wheel set in 9.5 × 22 inches in glossy black and the LE front grille with 3D grille. The new rims are fitted with tires in the dimensions 285x35x22 and, as a visual highlight, the brake calipers were painted in a striking red. At the rear, the noble SUV got a stainless steel crosshair 4-pipe sports exhaust system that also underlines the soundscape.

Beautiful details such as the Kahn lettering on the fenders or the individual lettering on the bonnet and tailgate round off the visual appearance impressively. And there were a few changes inside too, so stainless steel door sills, new aluminum foot pedals and various logos were used. Incidentally, the entire vehicle was given an individual paint job in glossy black, which cannot be ordered from the factory. You can buy the vehicle for £ 122,999 directly from Kahn Design. If we get even more information about the modifications to the Range Rover, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
