PROCAR, the Dutch BMW specialists, based in Zwolle, near the IJsselmeer, invested a total of 700 working hours in the extensive construction of the one pictured here E46 M3 project vehicle. The M3 is built on a Crate engine by AWRON. In the M3 bug was recognized by the experts as powerful 5,0 liter V10 (S85B50) anchored from the E60/E61 M5 and the E63/64 M6 also had this installed! And one tailored to the "special" circumstances Standalone management system including CAN interface by Robert Sop from AWRON automotive was also integrated for most of the wiring. Its adapter and cable can even be easily combined with the original E46 cabling. The same applies to the instrument cluster. The lights, instruments etc. work perfectly with it and the ABS and DSC of the E46 M3 have retained their function.
M3 project vehicle
All of PROCAR's technology was integrated into a top-class hardware ensemble. The hardware components include a powerful Radium fuel system with catch tank, a Vibra Technics engine mounts, E60 M5 water cooler, Pipercross sports air filter as well as a Dry sump kit by VAC Motorsport. There is also a specially made one on board 3-inch exhaust system, the “hot V10 breath” by two 100-cell motorsport cats as well as one M Performance Inconal rear silencer can be "unloaded" from the E92 M3. The one programmed by AWRON automotive MSS65-DME with an Alpha N controller is the heart of the whole thing. The modified 2004 M3 Coupé thus achieves a performance of around 530 PS.
Motorsport coilover suspension with 7-speed DCT
The power comes to the rear wheels of the souped-up and plentifully powerful 2004 M3 Coupé 7-speed DCT from the E9x M3 with HTG transmission control unitto Carbon propeller shaft from the F8x M4 and one OS Giken limited slip differential with 3,15 gear ratio. The wheels themselves are visually quite discreet. They are stylish BMW Styling 219 rims in 8,5 × 18 and 9,5 × 18 inches but always. They are also equipped with non-slip Nankang AR-1 semislicks in size 265/35R18. Incidentally, the suspension of the wheels is via a AST 5100 motorsport coilovers secured. There are also special ones camber adjuster (VA/HA) as well Powerflex PU bushings on both axes. Another one was installed at the front Whiteline stabilizer.

On the front axle, a AP Racing Pro 5000R Big Brake Kit with 368mm discs for a violent negative acceleration. And for an exact direction, one helps electro-hydraulic power steering.
