There's news from BMW and how could it be otherwise, it's electrifying. The newest BMW 5er (G60) was recently spotted at BMW Welt Munich and he was with me M equipped, which clearly let the muscles flex. The spectacular white of the i5 M60 - the most powerful representative of the sedan series for the time being - has attracted the attention of passers-by in the delivery area of the iconic double cone. No surprise that various cameras were immediately pulled out to capture the sight. Various videos are already available on YouTube, from which we got our pictures. The i5 M60 from the pictures is anything but simple or reserved. The vehicle exudes pure power, especially through the M Sport package, which already integrates aerodynamic elements ex works.
BMW i5 M60 M Performance
Black and white contrasts dominate the photo vehicle. The black kidneys from M Sport Pro package with extended shadowline meet a luminous white, complemented by Shadow Line headlight, carbon attachments on the front apron and Carbon exterior mirror. These are joined by chic ones M Performance rims and Decor stickers along the side. The M performance side skirts give the 5 Series an additional touch of sportiness. At the stern put one Carbon spoiler lip , and a diffuser insert chic accents with distinctively shaped fins. It is interesting that the diffuser solution is not only attractive for the electric i5 M60 - it could also be offered for the 5-series models with combustion engines. But that's not all: a black roof, reminiscent of a carbon roof, rounds out the design, although it's more likely a large panoramic glass roof.
Impressive performance and range!
But the i5 M60 is not only pretty to look at, it also has a lot under the hood. With a performance of 601 PS it sprints from 3,8 to 0 km/h in just 100 seconds and reaches a top speed from 230 km/h. On winding routes, the low center of gravity comes in handy, thanks to the heavy one placed in the underbody Lithium-ion battery is made possible. The battery allows a range of up to 516 kilometers. Conclusion: This factory-tuned i5 M60 is a powerhouse that knows how to impress in terms of both design and performance. It will certainly be a dream car for many.
