Has Lightweight Performance featured about once again on 2014 BMW M4 screwed? Please forgive me for my train of thought, but when I first looked at the tuner's BMW M2 F87 Coupe, I thought this was the M4 from then. Not that I can't distinguish an M2 from an M4, but the tuner puts a few black accents on the headlights -> towards the also black BMW M Performance kidneys, the front skilfully staged so that you could think of an F82 . In addition to the black accents on the front, the 2 Series also got a carbon front splitter built under the bumper, which makes the overall look of the M2 even more beefy and sporty. The next noticeable feature is then at the rear, namely a large carbon rear wing with the LW M2 Projekt logo sits enthroned on the trunk lid.
19 inch rims & 450PS
Of course, a roaring titanium rear silencer system including real carbon tailpipes was installed and this ensures that the 450PS are also audible. 450PS? Exactly, the 2 Series not only got a sportier look but also significantly more power. Using carbon intake air ducts, 300 cell downpipes and chip tuning, the N55B30 six-cylinder in-line engine with TwinPower turbo direct injection and Valvetronic now delivers a whopping 450PS & 680 NM torque and should also be on par with the M4 in this regard. Incidentally, the changes just mentioned include a set of 10 × 19 inch forged wheels with Michelin PilotSport Cup2 tires and a high-performance brake system with matt gold brake calipers adapted to the performance.
At a top speed of 297 km / h, this is definitely needed. There have also been a few changes inside, so fine Alcantara is now spoiling the occupants at a high level.
