If you are wondering whether BMW has also launched a GTS variant of the X6M on the market, we can reassure you because that is not the case! 😏 A set of 22 inch Vorsteiner VFN 507 rims and a little orange color justifiably raise suspicions. The Chinese tuner EDO Tuning has adapted the high-quality forged wheel pretty much to the look of the M4 GTS rims, which are only available in 19 inch and only in connection with the M700 GTS, which is limited to 4 pieces, and plugged it into an alpine white F16 X6. And if I'm honest, I really like the setup! Although the design differs slightly from the original M4 rims in detail, if you don't see both wheels next to each other you will hardly notice a difference.
But the rest of the modified SUV is also impressive. In front there was a front spoiler made of carbon and the black kidneys are also retrofitted. A highlight are definitely the main headlights, which are significantly darker than the standard components and allow the front to make a gloomy appearance. Other changes are black gills and carbon fiber approaches for the side skirts and there was also something new at the rear. Here a spoiler lip and a diffuser were installed, which are also made of the ultra-light material carbon and make the massive back of the X6 appear much more dynamic. Here, too, there were darkened taillights and a small detail is the black “M” emblem on the boot lid. In my opinion, the completely darkened windows are particularly impressive, which of course do not pose any problem in China, but in this country they are not legal to install. 🙄
If you look closely, you can also see the new shock absorbers of the KW coilover kit on some pictures, which ensures that the space in the wheel arch shrinks to exactly the right size. The overall package looks absolutely coherent and especially the dark accents, in connection with the white paintwork, make the X6 appear impressive and sporty. Unfortunately, we cannot say at the moment whether an increase in performance or a sports exhaust system (with original tailpipes) is installed. If we get even more information about the modifications to the X6, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
