Recently, the Netherlands decided to introduce a speed limit of 100 km / h on all highways. The reason is the emission problem, which leads to the regular exceeding of the EU nitrogen oxide limit values. While we had the advantage in this country recently by voting (498 MPs on the other hand / 126 for thatIt was not possible to debate a speed limit in the Netherlands. The Supreme Court of the country has decided that in view of the nitrogen oxide problem, the decision is inevitable. Whether that's the driver of this dull black Mercedes-Benz AMG GT63 4MATIC + 4 door coupe X290 (what a name ^^) already knew? After all, that means that he only has a maximum of 3,2 seconds and two shifts of the Stuttgarters legal to enjoy to the fullest.

800 PS Mercedes-AMG GT63s

In the standard condition, 100 km / h are reached and third gear turns just over 5000 revolutions. And with this copy, the joy is even shorter. The AMG received a Brabus performance increase to stately 800 PS (at 6.600 rpm) & 1.000 NM (at 3.600 rpm) and catapults the occupants to the maximum permitted top speed in the Netherlands in just 2,9 seconds. The upgrade is achieved with BRABUS high-performance turbochargers and the BRABUS PowerXtra additional control unit, which is adapted to the engine electronics using plug & play technology. And visually something has already changed on the car. Wheelclinic installed the BRABUS AIRMATIC SPORT unit to lower the vehicle by 25 mm, there were gills, mirror caps and side skirts made of carbon and a few Brabus badges are already installed all around.

In addition, the radiator grille was completely covered in black and the brake calipers of the AMG brake system were given a look in the typical Brabus style. The cabin has illuminated Brabus door sills and the Brabus carbon aerodynamic package, the Brabus sports exhaust system and a few other details will soon be available. One can only hope that the missing “new” surveys on speed behavior on motorways in the Netherlands will soon be submitted and that the speed limit will be off the table again. If we receive information on the planned further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report, as always. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new, you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
