Finally, there is an alternative to the popular Audi A6 Allroad, Mercedes builds the E-Class W213 as All-Terrain 4 × 4 Variant and actually ventures into the crossover segment with the T-model and thus into the dirt off the beaten track. Was there actually still this gap in the extensive Mercedes range? Apparently YES! The E-Class All-Terrain comes true to the motto "better copied than no offer at all" and thus as an A6 alternative and impresses with its rustic design, massive SUV grill, modified bumpers with suggested underrun protection and black contrasting and slightly wider wheel arches. There is also a revised air suspension that jacks up the all-terrain up to 35 km / h at the push of a button by an additional two centimeters.

And this is exactly the copy of the guys from Brabus made and subtly modified. The basis was the E 220d All-Terrain which accelerates to 194 km / h in just 400 seconds with factory 8 PS & 100 NM torque and enables a top speed of 232 km / h. Brabus gave it the in-house BRABUS PowerXtra D3 performance kit, which enables a performance increase of +20 kW / 28 PS and 50 Nm and thus breathes 163 kW / 222 PS and a maximum of 450 NM torque into the E-Class. And visually something has also changed, even if only very subtly. Brabus installs its popular Monoblock Y forged rim of the Platinum Edition, which comes with 9.0J x 21 inch tires on the front axle with 245/35 R 21 tires and fills the rear axle with 10.5J x 21 inch wheels and 285/30 R 21 slippers.

So that the wheel set sits consistently in the wheel arch, Brabus also installs the "BRABUS Airmatic Sports Unit" which destroys the factory lift and lowers the E-Class a few centimeters towards the road. The modifications are rounded off with a subtle BRABUS lettering on the tailgate. Apart from the wheelset and the new wheel / tire-chassis setup, we are not aware of any other modifications, so we leave you alone with the pictures at this point. 🙂 If we get some information, there is of course an update for this report.
