BSTC performance tuning on the Mercedes GLE 400

After the spectacular BSTC Mercedes-AMG GT R with 900 hp we continue with news from the tuner from Buchholz (Aller). Now the team from BS Parts Center refined a GLE (W166) under the BSTC-Performance label created for performance cars. This time again with a lot OEM AMG parts in combination with some exterior finish modifications. Specifically, it is a GLE 400 built in 2018 with AMG parts optically mutated to the GLE 63 and a few too Tech Upgrades got. But let's get to the technology first. The big saddles belong to one AMG brake system, and they are in Toxic Green painted. In front it is on 6-piston fixed caliper system with 390 millimeter perforated and slotted Brake discs and in the back there are floating saddles with slices in 345 millimeter format.

And the new brake system also has a reason. Of the 3,0-liter twin-turbo V6 under the hood of the GLE 400 got one from BSTC-Performance Stage 1 software optimization on strong 420 PS. And then there would be the new optics Mercedes parts. The conversion with original parts includes a AMG front apron, a AMG diffuser and also the black AMGdual tailpipes are original goods from Mercedes-Benz. Let's continue with AMG wheel arch extensions and the optical highlight are clearly the 10×21 inch OEM/AMGCross-spoke alloy wheels with Pirelli Scorpion tires in the format 295/35ZR21 in the wheel arches. With a lowering module for the air suspension, it goes down a few millimeters electronically and as a striking detail for the body there was a satin finish foiling in anthracite.

Details in Black & Toxic Green

As a contrast to the lacquer dress, they were all blackened exterior elements such as the strips on the aprons, the doors, the radiator grille with the Mercedes star, the handle strips or the running boards. With bright green Accents (Toxic Green / BSTC Performance lettering) on the flanks as well Contrast stripes The look is successfully rounded off at the front and rear. By the way, there were no changes in the cabin. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report.
