So-called pro touringRemodeling is one of the avenues to tackle when you have a restoration from a classic muscle car. And this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle is one such vehicle. He supposedly has components worth over $200.000 and was given a deep all-round Black wrapped. Responsible for the conversion of the Chevelle to Pro touring vehicle was by the way Dustin from Nostalgic Hot Rods in Henderson, Nevada (United States). According to the video, the Chevelle is around 6,0 inches (approx. 15 cm) widened (Front fenders 2,0 inches / approx. 5 cm and rear 3,0 inches / approx. 8 cm) and one is neatly integrated into the rear side walls Sidepipe exhaust system. Painting Incidentally, it only looks black at first glance, because viewed from the right angle it is a two-tone surface with a subtle yellow tone.

Has been stuck under the hood since the conversion 565 cubic inches (9,25 liters) big block Chevy V8 made of solid aluminium, the Dart was built. It turns a maximum of 8.000 rpm and sounds like a NASCAR V8. According to Dustin, the performance is "about 900 hp' and while most Pro-Touring conversions come with a manual transmission, this vehicle goes for one Six-speed automatic. By the way, the classic stands on a tailor-made one 2×5 steel chassis and has one Airride air suspension from Air Ride Technologies Shockwave with one Level ride management system under the sheet. But that's not all. Also the inner space of the 1966 Chevelle has been rebuilt with great attention to detail.

You can see a two-tone color theme in the shade "Peanut Butter and Black", with materials in the form of suede and leather. Two digital ones are integrated into the dashboard Holley displays and a central one switch display there is on the steering column. Finally, the Chevy is still four bucket seats stocked. According to the video, the conversion required over 10.000 hours of work and cost more than $500.000 in total. Incidentally, Shawn, the moderator of AutotopiaLA, informs that the unique "It wasn't built to look pretty, it was built to drive“. and like the classic drives, as the video from AutotopiaLA shows. Have fun with it!
