Carlex Design Yachting Edition Mercedes-AMG G 63 (W463A)!

When it comes to luxury tuning, let's forget Mansory or Keyvany. With regard to understatement, Carlex Design has come up with the Yachting edition of the current Mercedes-AMG G 63 did an impressive job, which is primarily aimed at fans of sailing. And we were particularly impressed by the interior, which presents itself in a completely new guise. The interior is completely redesigned by Carlex Design, using the white leather upholstery dominate on the doors, seats, center console, steering wheel, roof and pillars. The whole thing is complemented by noble wood applications, which can be found in the footwell, steering wheel, trunk and a few other places. And matching the sporty character of the G, Carlex Design still has the W463A Sports Seats donated for driver and front passenger. That too Carlex logo can be found several times in the interior and rounds off the makeover.

Carlex Yachting Edition AMG G63

With an interior this striking, you could have an equally bold one Exterior expect. But Carlex Design acted cautiously. They only took care of some details like that radiator grill, the lower parts of the doors and spare wheel carrier, which bear their signature. The multispoke alloy wheelswho care about the red calipers turn, also convey a certain rally flair. They might not be the first choice for the AMG G 63, but there are worse things. As a finishing touch, the tuner has the complete exterior in a dark color Shade of blue lacquered, which goes perfectly with the maritime theme of the G.

Although looked in our opinion the first Yachting Edition of the AMG G 63who have favourited Carlex almost four years ago presented a little better, but that's a matter of taste in the end! There was one then two-tone paint, which combined silver below and black above. The Carlex logo adorned the bonnet and the luxury liner drove on other rims that had a more appealing design. There is no information on the engine output, so we assume that the biturbo V8 with 4,0 liters displacement is still in the original state is. That means 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque, enough for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,5 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h.

Sale with original tires & certificate of authenticity!

The vehicle from the pictures is brand new and is for sale. It is interesting that Carlex him with the original rims sold. The accessory set shown here is only available separately. The price is a whopping EUR 329.000 – almost twice the list price of the G 63 in the USA. The price includes a Certificate of authenticity, which confirms the execution of the modifications by Carlex. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
