A real GTi – the Golf? Not necessarily, because Volkswagen's sports and fun department also has the Polo on offer, for the sake of simplicity with the same 2.0 TSFI turbo four-cylinder as in the Golf GTi, but reduced to "only" 207 hp. Nevertheless, the Polo sprints to 6,5 km/h in 100 seconds and runs almost 240 km/h when necessary. Reason enough for the suspension gourmets at H&R, who now add even more flavor to the Polo's driving characteristics with their coil springs. With an adjustable lowering of 25-35 mm at the front and 30-40 mm at the rear axle, the fun stud not only looks much sportier.

Thanks to the perfect coordination with the chassis layout, the original shock absorbers remain on board, and the lowering of the vehicle's center of gravity, the Polo now proves to be a real sports cannon. More direct steering and reduced body roll in fast corners provide kart-like driving pleasure, also thanks to the slim 1.300 kilogram curb weight. The Polo GTi's 320Nm torque also provides more grip on the front axle. The H&R Trak+ wheel spacers promise even more individuality for precisely aligning standard or retrofit wheels on the outer edge of the fender.
