The second generation of the Dodge Charger was equipped for the model year 2015 with an extensive facelift and there was also the phenomenal 6,2 L Supercharged Hemi-V8 with 527 kW (717 PS) & 881 Nm for the Hellcat. But the changed front bumper, the radiator grille and the headlights including LED daytime running lights make the Charger much friendlier in my opinion and the rear section, based on the Dodge Dart, looks defused and no longer as extreme. On the timeline of the rim label Vossen Wheels yesterday they released a pre-facelift model that looks exactly as it should! Aggressive, aggressive and angry ... It is a Dodge Charger SRT8 with a thick 6,4 L Hemi-V8 and 351 kW (477 PS) / 637 Nm torque which, while not reaching the level of the Hellcat, is anything but underpowered. The SRT got a complete bodykit made up of a new front bumper with a huge grille and LED daytime running lights.
On the side, there were relatively subtle side skirts and an absolute highlight is the completely modified rear end, which includes a large rear spoiler that blends seamlessly into the side walls of the Charger. By contrast, the new rear diffuser looks almost restrained and discreet. A highlight, of course, are the beefy Vossen x Work VWS-2 alloy wheels with their two-tone appearance! Matching the black body, the rim beds are painted matt black and the rim star shines in dull gold. The owner sets visually striking accents thanks to bright green details on the front spoiler, the brake calipers, the lens surrounds in the headlight or at the rear. And of course, in such a large project also an extreme lowering not be missing and so the vehicle was clearly pushed in the direction of the road.
Of course there are a lot of other modifications such as the completely darkened taillights, a sports exhaust system with large tailpipes or the black side indicators, but apart from the pictures, we unfortunately did not receive any information from Vossen Wheels so that we do not have our guessing game at this point want to continue and leave it with the pictures for now. If we get some information about the modifications to the Charger SRT, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. - Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilovers, Airride air suspension - more information is not available)
- darkened / tinted windows all around
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- Sport exhaust system with large tailpipes
