Edition ColorVision for BMW 1 and 2 Series Gran Coupé!

For the ideal entry into the world of the BMW brand, there are two individual model characters to choose from. The BMW 1 Series and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé offer brand-typical driving pleasure in the premium compact segment, which can now be combined with a particularly impressive appearance. The new Edition ColorVision helps both models to achieve a targeted increase in sportiness in terms of driving behavior and appearance. It is based on the equipment scope of the respective M Sport model and also includes, among other things, a metallic paint finish and leather interior in an exclusive two-tone design. The Edition ColorVision will be available from July 2022 for the BMW 1 Series and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé.

the Edition ColorVision

With its exclusive design and equipment features, the Edition ColorVision brings out the unmistakable characteristics of the BMW 1 Series and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé in a particularly clear way: their sporty, elegant exterior design, their agile driving characteristics and their high-quality premium ambience in the interior. The lively and driving pleasure-oriented character of both models is clearly emphasized with the contents of the M Sport model. A large, three-part lower air intake in the front apron, a dark diffuser insert and vertically aligned air outlets in the rear apron as well as the M high-gloss Shadow Line ensure a powerful appearance. The 18-inch M light-alloy wheels in Y-spoke design and in the black/silver two-tone version, which are only available for the edition vehicles, add an exclusive touch.

The BMW M 50 Years emblems for the bonnet, the luggage compartment lid and the wheel hubs are also available on request and at no extra charge. An M sports suspension including vehicle lowering by 10 millimeters and M sports steering optimize the dynamic potential of the BMW 1 Series and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé. Just like the contents of the M Sport model, a metallic paint finish is also included in the equipment scope of the Edition ColorVision. There are eight expressive exterior colors to choose from for the BMW 1 Series and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé. BMW Individual paint finishes, including the matt variant Frozen Pure Gray metallic, are also available as an option. At the BMW Group plant in Leipzig, where both the BMW 1 Series and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé are produced, the edition vehicles can also be painted in one of 50 particularly characteristic BMW M colours. To mark the 50th anniversary of BMW M GmbH, particularly style-defining and historically significant paint finishes such as Dakar yellow, Daytona violet or Macao blue are being reissued.

The edition models also add color to the interior design. An exclusive part of their equipment scope is the Dakota leather interior in a two-tone version. It is available in the color combinations black/magma red and black/white, has embroidered "Edition" lettering and is combined with M sports seats for the driver and front passenger, which support a dynamic driving style with integrated headrests, high side bolsters and wide backrest flanks . The M leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons, the anthracite-colored roof liner, the M stainless steel pedals and the M driver's footrest also contribute to the sporty flair in the interior of the edition vehicles. The lighting package with ambient lighting and floor mats with specific piping are also part of the ColorVision edition. There are also exclusive door sills with mesh design surfaces that bear the “Edition” lettering.

The Edition ColorVision is available for all engine variants of the BMW 1 Series and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé, with the exception of the BMW 128ti. There are three petrol and three diesel engines to choose from for the compact five-door model, while two petrol and three diesel engines are available for the four-door coupé. The top models BMW M135i xDrive and BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupé can also be configured as Edition ColorVision. In this way, they combine the performance characteristics of their 225 kW/306 hp four-cylinder engine and the intelligent all-wheel drive as well as their model-specific chassis technology, including M sports brake system, wheel slip limitation close to the actuator and mechanical differential lock on the front axle, with the exclusive design features of the new edition.
