G-Power G5M Hurricane RR - BMW M5 (F90) with 900 PS!

Tuner G-Power from Kühbach has already worked on the performance screw 840 PS & 1.050 NM strong G5M HURRICANE RS turned. The designation as “G5M Hurricane RR” does not change, but there is now a small difference in the vehicle registration document. If there were 2 KW up to now under point P.4 / P.618, it is now an unbelievable 662. That means from already powerful 840 PS it goes up to crazy 900 horses. The tuning sedan based on the BMW M5 F90 turns the performance spiral a good bit further and makes even the 625 PS strong M5 Competition look like. And should be the planned one 650 hp M5 CS actually come, then this one too is clearly left behind right from the start. An unbelievable 900 hp and an electronically limited maximum torque of 1.050 Newton meters are simply a different league. If you look back at the origins of the M5 for fun, the difference can hardly be put into words. Because the first generation as E28 M5 with M88 / 3 six-cylinder made "only" 286 PS & 340 NM and thus not even a third of the G-Power M5 from 2020.

Crazy what has happened in the 35 years. The upgrade on the 4,4-liter V8 biturbo is achieved through an extensive engine conversion. Forged pistons with new connecting rods are used, there is also an optimized cooling package and the most important change are the two new turbochargers. They come with CNC-milled housings and are integrated into the extensive engine setup with a major software update, with new downpipes including sports catalytic converters and a specially adapted stainless steel sports exhaust system with four 100 millimeter pipes. For the variant with 840 hp, G-Power estimated a sprint time to country road speed in just 2,5 seconds in March of this year and put the top speed at an electronically limited 350 kilometers per hour. The additional 60 hp should certainly nibble off one or the other tenth. And if our information is correct, then the top speed increases again. From an electronically limited 350 to a now insane 366 km / h. This makes the G5M Hurricane RR the fastest sedan in the world, according to G-Power.

And optically, a lot is also possible on request. The gray photo vehicle, for example, has the GP-VENTURI bonnet made of carbon with DYNAMIC VENTING technology and a new spoiler lip and all-round G-Power emblems are included. The most striking feature, however, are definitely the HURRICANE forged wheels in 21 inch format, which seem to fit perfectly in the wheel arch due to a subtle lowering. A spoiler lip is installed at the rear and there are also small attachments to the apron on both sides. By the way: G-Power describes the power output of 900 PS as "expressed very conservatively".
