Controversial charm of modernity: G80 BMW M3 front meets E39 5 Series!

The steady growth of BMW's striking kidney grille is polarizing. A symbol of advancement for some, a stylistic crash for others. The most recent and most controversial attempt to G80 BMW M3 Grille Incorporating it into the classic E39 5s of the 2000s will certainly provide some fuel for discussion. Unici design, known on social media for its sometimes radical adjustments, has ventured on the E39 5 Series this time and given it a front from G80/G82 BMW M3/M4 lost. The result? A design that, in our opinion, is unflattering for the elegant classic. The new components supersede and even supersede some of the original features, including parts of the headlights and the bonnet edge.

The tuner admits on social media that logistical challenges currently delaying the conversion process. Nevertheless, he is confident that the BMW until the end of August in his new (and undoubtedly controversial) robe hits the streets. Across the front lines, Mike Dog, a digital artist, renderings of a drastically redesigned E39 provided as a template. The planned design has a bold Wide body kit up, combined with a Lowering, modern Rims, One Ducktail spoiler, a four-barreled Sports exhaust system, toned rear and main headlights, M5 mirrors and a distant one BMW logo at the stern. In any case, the reactions in the tuning world are likely to be mixed.

The future of remodeling

Some will admire the courage to push the boundaries of design, while others see it as an almost sacrilegious change of a classic. But whatever the opinions, one thing is certain: This E39 5 Series will not go unnoticed. We know of course that "Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder". However, we here have looked at the pictures and the beginnings of the tuning extensively and have come to the conclusion that it definitely belongs in ours Tuning Fail Category because WE don't consider it beautiful.
