Since 2014, the BMW M4 F82 has been the epitome of performance and sportiness in the area of powerful mid-range coupes. Clearly the bi-turbo in-line six-cylinder S55B30 with direct injection and Valvetronic and its 431PS & 550NM torque is an impressive engine and in connection with the typical BMW agility it is difficult to find an adequate counterpart. But why does nobody have the Americans on their screen? How about, for example, the Cadillac ATS-V, which can already score with a beefy 3.6 V6 twin turbo ex works. After all, the engine generates a power of 470PS & 603NM torque and is thus a good bit above that of the M4. By the way, a rogue who thinks bad about the pricing, which is very close to that of the M4 Coupe. The tuning team from Geiger Performance (GeigerCars) has brought this ATS-V across the pond and is showing an impressively elegant vehicle that thanks to the increased performance and chic OZ alloy wheels (of course without) does not have to shy away from any comparison with the M4. In order to stand out from the already very rare mass, you can choose a set of OZ Leggera aluminum wheels in 9 × 19 inches at the front and 9,5 × 19 inches at the rear.
As expected, the tires are generous with slippers in the 255 & 275 format and the 659NM torque should be optimally implemented.
Chiptuning & stainless steel flap exhaust system
Incidentally, a stainless steel flap exhaust system from Kat, including X-Pipe, also contributes to the increase in performance using the tuning box. The tuning counterpart can be recognized by the 110 millimeter tailpipes and of course the deep sound. For the modifications just mentioned, all you need is a subtle lowering of 25mm (sport springs) and in my opinion there is an absolutely equal vehicle to the M4, RS5 or the new C63 Coupe. The team from Geiger Performance (GeigerCars) has released the modified ATS-V the days and we are of course happy to show you the pictures. After the subtle tuning cure that the Cadillac was allowed to endure, it is elegantly modified and again significantly stronger than the production version and retains exactly the understatement that it needs in this class. So if you have been secretly thinking of buying an ATS-V for a long time or even if you are already a happy owner, GeigerCars is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.
