Even if the Venom F5 from Hennessey Performance does was officially launched over a year ago, the manufacturer and tuner is apparently still busy with the development. Because a recently published video shows how the Texans test their strictly limited hypercar for various high-speed stability runs. And while the Venom F5 reached a top speed of “only” 2021 miles per hour (approx. 200 km / h) in aerodynamics tests in 322, the year 2022 begins with a new unofficial record. Because at the end of the high-speed trip at the Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds in Florida, the vehicle was reaching over 250 miles per hour, what 402 km/h is equivalent to. To do this, however, the so-called "F5 mode" had to be unlocked. It enables the maximum available power of the Venom F5. And the mode also ensures that the Venom when changing gears Spitting fire from the exhaust pipe. You can see this at 40 seconds in the video. Hennessey stated that a "real" top speed test is still a long time coming.
