Mercedes noble tuner Hofele takes after one first careful tuning in May now the legendary G-Class of the Swabians again. The Donzdorf tuning company refines the luxury off-road vehicle (W463A) with all imaginable extras and gives it considerably more prestige. The G does not lack a macho attitude and overtaking prestige, but Hofele would like to give the large SUV, which has unfortunately acquired a dubious image from time to time, a bit of sophisticated luxury, which not only looks good on car victims, but also every other solvent customer who wants to fulfill his dream of a very individual Benz. In the tuning scene, the Hofele Ultimate HG will be celebrated, we're sure of that. However, Hofele has a completely different clientele in its sights for its conversions than, for example, Lorinser or Brabus. But now we come to the special features of this unique G-Class.

Off-road vehicles for individualists

The main feature of the G-Class are definitely the suicide doors, which open backwards in the style of a Rolls-Royce to allow easier entry into the rear. The two extra-long electrically extending running boards, which can be used by the driver and front passenger as well as the rear passengers, serve the same purpose. Hofele Design has also modified the grill so that it now has a chrome border and chrome struts. This should underline the luxury claim of the Hofele Ultimate HG, which also has additional headlights on the roof, but in our opinion they overshoot the mark. In addition, the Hofele emblem is located in the grille instead of the star, and the front is dominated by a large amount of chrome trim. We find the bicolor paintwork very subtle, which is much less noticeable, than with the new Maybach, and thus ideally joins the premium claim of the G. Last but not least, there are massive 23-inch turbine rims with a bi-color look on the Hofele Ultimate HG, which the SUV looks very good on. This G will hardly be found at a tuning meeting, but rather at supercar events around the world, depending on where it finds a wealthy owner - if he hasn't already found it.

The interior is (as always) only the finest.

With the Ultimate HG, the interior was refined with fine white nappa leather and Alcantara with perforations and elegant decorative stitching in two different shades of gray. The Hofele emblem was embroidered on the headrests and on the backrests to make it clear that this is not an ordinary Mercedes. It is also only a four-seater with two individual seats in the rear. These offer all imaginable comfort functions and ensure that the solvent clientele is appropriately chauffeured.

Unfortunately, we do not know anything about the drive.

Hofele has so far kept a low profile when it comes to the propulsion of the luxury liner. We only know that the model has permanent all-wheel drive, like all G-Classes, but we can only speculate wildly about the car's power and torque.

Our conclusion on the Hofele Ultimate HG!

The Donzdorfers have once again proven their unique class in the conversion of Mercedes models, and we are convinced that the luxury SUV is the ultimate when it comes to getting around in a classy way. Unfortunately, there is still no information about the price, but it should definitely not be a cheap pleasure to own such a vehicle.
